Department Overview
Gas Operations is focused on ensuring the safe and reliable flow of natural gas to our customers and responsible for all aspects of PG&E’s gas distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, restoration and emergency response. LNG/CNG Engineering and Operations department specifically is responsible for areas related to portable natural gas and natural gas vehicle fueling stations as the asset owner for 32 natural gas vehicle stations throughout the service territory and various sized liquified natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) portable assets to support planned and unplanned gas outage. In addition, LNG/CNG E&O owns LNG/CNG portable asset, mobile CNG stations, cross compressors, generators, odorizers, and flares used to support planned and unplanned projects in Gas Operations.

Position Summary
Manages and/or administers one or more company programs with a focus on the main liaison between LNG/CNG E&O and project teams for different lines of business that LNG/CNG offers including but not limited to pipeline conditioning, combustion, and load generation. Provides oversight, communication, and reporting for the overall process and project management for the assigned program(s). Manages the program budget, which may include developing and presenting the budget proposal and forecast project costs monthly.
Location is flexible within the PG&E Service Territory, please note hiring leader will make final decision of what are appropriate headquarters for the role based on business need.

Position will require up to 60% of travel time in work schedule.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. ​

A reasonable salary range is: ​

Bay Area Minimum: $102,000
Bay Area Maximum: $162,000
&/OR
California Minimum: $97,000
California Maximum: $154,00

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Job Responsibilities
Applies advanced knowledge of Program Management to moderate to complex assignments and established programs. Works independently on most issues. Receives guidance from engineering supervisor. May participate in the development of new programs.
Manage programs, monitor and track work to ensure timeliness, quality and overall program budget.
Conducts project plan review meetings and project coordination meetings, issues meeting minutes and ensures resolution of identified issues
Monitors execution of work from initiation to closure to ensure units and unit cost is attained.
Conducts benchmarking and best practice reviews for engineering & design.
Develops recommendations for improvements to tools and processes and associated training to improve productivity and reduce operation costs. Leads the implementation of best practices and department reliability and affordability team.
Develops and implements of project assignment and communication for assigned programs to team members.
Prepares reports, status updates, variance explanations and budget recommendations. Makes presentations to manager and/or key program stakeholders.
Ensures ongoing regulatory compliance with the program.
Develops responses to program-related data requests.
Assists with GRC testimony research related to the program.\

Q ualifications-

Minimum:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
5 years total related experience
SAP experience
Project or program management experience

Desired:
Experience in gas maintenance and construction
Experience in engineering
PMP-Project Management Professional certification
