ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Frey, Inc. does business as High Meadow Development Co. We are a land development company in the Northwest Houston area. Frey, Inc. has developed communities such as High Meadow Estates and The Preserve and is currently working on The
Cedars, High Meadow West and Waverly Manors. The position advertised here will be a critical one as we are in full swing on our new projects and many of the responsibilities listed here are time consuming tasks.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position assists the management team and main office staff for Frey, Inc. and will report to the Director of
HR/Administration. This position requires the use of a vehicle for certain aspects, but most work will be done in an office environment. Need to be able to lift 0-20lbs. Position is full-time. As a full-time employee, there is access to health benefits. We would require you to be in the office from 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Thursday and 9am to 12pm on Fridays.
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Assisting in office filing and keeping office filing maintained.
- Running errands such as depositing checks at bank, picking up mail from P.O. box, mailing checks weekly, and dropping checks off at local vendors – other errands come up occasionally such as picking up food for meetings.
- Distributing office supplies to sales offices in the area.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the main office specifically the cleaning company used. Ensure the office appears clean when the cleaning company has come and ensure they’ve cleaned all the areas we’ve asked to the standard we expect.
- Take bi-weekly inventory of all promo materials and office supplies at all offices.
- Receive guests & meeting attendees including offering drinks, directing them to the conference room/waiting area, ensuring the conference room is setup for meetings, etc.
- Keeping gift bag materials stocked from the supplies we currently have.
- Performing miscellaneous tasks such as cancelling a service, booking a reservation, ordering food, organizing calendars, etc.
- Additional responsibilities will eventually be included.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Degree or above.
- Some experience in an administrative assistance role preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Self-starter.
- Advanced organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
