Carson’s Nut-Bolt & Tool of Spartanburg S.C.

We are looking for a few highly motivated, fast paced individuals to work in the warehouse and make deliveries.

You must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 60 plus pounds.

You must be able to drive a forklift and use a tape measure.

The hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday.

These are entry level positions and there is opportunity for advancement.

Warehouse Associate – Job Description Function:

The position of Warehouse Worker is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on boxes, cases, kegs, or other containers.

Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.

Preparation of all shipping documentation.

Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.

Safely and accurately cut designated lengths of rod, & chain.

Address maintenance issues of rod, & chain cutting tools and machinery.

Be able to accurately identify various types and sizes of rod, & chain.

Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.

Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.

Be able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.

Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math skills and reasoning skills.

Ability to understand and execute instructions.

General understanding of the warehouse and footprint

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Warehouse and distribution experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

Able to move/lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted

Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment

Position spends the majority of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
