Job Description:
- Manage the Title Operations staff by overseeing activities, training, coaching, resolving issues, tracking attendance and assigning responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of department and that customer requirements are met.
Manage and oversee all Title functions, including operations, clearance, customer service, tax certification, and policy production to ensure consistency, compliance and adherence to established procedures.
Monitor and manage work-flow through general communication and by working with staff to ensure employees are current with industry information and that customer and company requirements are met.
Review and maintain system reports on a daily basis and delegate resolution of reports with unassigned, unreturned or undelivered status to staff for follow-up to improve turn-times, to discover missing searches and to provide information to other departments.
Prepare projections and reports comparing business activities against goals as requested to provide management with decision-making tools.
Encourage a teamwork environment by communicating and providing feedback to facilitate the exchange of information.
Implement and support the Performance Management Process to ensure the continuous development of employees and their ability to meet changing customer requirements and the Company’s business objectives.
Order supplies for entire department to maintain an adequately stocked shared supply area.Provide back-up to various department functions when necessary to ensure continuation of department work-flow.Choose and/or recommend vendors (i.e. abstractors, tax providers, offshore partners, attorney partners, underwriting/agency partners, etc.) by sourcing and evaluating through various processes to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
Perform sales/customer service activities in order to acquire new customers, improve processes with existing customers and to properly make business and risk decisions.
Review and consult on general and complex title transactions to make appropriate risk assessments, provide customer service and to improve processes.
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Position can be remote if necessary but the preference is to find a candidate in the Pittsburgh (PA) or Naperville (IL) market.
Experience with multi-state title and settlement services company is required.
5 years industry experience is required.
3 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
