Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

NFM’s Solution Center Analyst I will provide customer support on hardware and software problems and complete application maintenance/enhancements analysis, testing, implementation and support. Our Solution Center is relied upon to keep our world class facilities operating. This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in NE, IA, MO, KS or TX.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Answer the Call: Provide a world-class customer support experience for hardware and software – support software includes POPS, Flooring Measure, JDE, Vendor Receivables, Telephony, RIMMS, Marketing Software, Flooring Measure Software, ect.
• Dig Deep: Understand customer needs in order to find the right solution responding quickly and appropriately
• Analyze: Able to understand minor application-based change requests received for a single platform or limited application focus and work with customer and with the assistance and direction of other Solution Center Analysts to clarify understanding of request
• Implement: Develops testing scenarios, preforms detailed integration and regression testing, documents new functionality, coordinates implementation tasks and proactively monitors
• Play Your Part: We count on you to be the jack-of-all-trades – proactively building knowledge base on all features within NFM hardware and software in ‘down-time’ situations

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience required
• 1 year of software development experience or 3 years NFM experience that included being active in problem solving, process improvement, training, ASD User Representative for the work area that the team is responsible for - required
• Fundamental knowledge of the software development process and methodology, and the demonstrated ability to apply to completion of routine assignments - required
• Ability to accomplish routine tasks and make decisions with limited supervision / review by others
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; MS Office applications
• Technical skills – fundamental understanding of application software and system concepts and the ability to apply them for the completion of routine assignments.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs including availability to provide on-call support 24 hours per day, 7 days a week as needed
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
