Violet Crown Cinema is an independently owned and operated movie theater, café and bar that invests in and engages the local community through thoughtfully curated film programming, a focus on local craft beer, wine, and cider and a commitment to providing freshly prepared food, all in a fast casual setting.We are seeking positive and energetic people to join our team at our newest location, located in the West Village in Uptown. Our floor staff has one main job; to provide an exceptional guest experience to each and every person that enters our business. Although there are specific job duties for each position, all floor staff are expected to be knowledgeable about all product options, be attentive to our guests’ needs at all times, and have a detail-oriented outlook on the facility and operations of the business.
We are looking for employees that are passionate about film, want to provide outstanding customer service, and believe in fostering teamwork and flexibility in the workplace. Ideal candidates are comfortable working mostly on their feet, with a sense of urgency and discipline, in a fun but demanding environment. Given the nature of the job, this position requires evening and weekend availability.
