Teamleader Travel Operations

As a Teamleader in our Shared Service Center, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of travel consultants to grow into their roles. Your responsibilities include managing key performance indicators (KPI), workload, providing assistance, and coaching. You are the primary point of contact for the travel agents and will actively coach and develop your team to meet and exceed all internal and external performance targets.

We are looking for a Teamleader who works independently and takes initiative to provide assistance and has an extensive understanding of all areas in the travel industry.

• Meet and exceed all performance targets and give feedback to the manager
• Support, assist, and coach travel agents to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Take proactive actions to improve internal and external customer satisfaction
• Handle client reservations
• Control and manage customer complaints and general queries
• Control the workload of your team
• Schedule and organize the shifts and holidays of your team members
• Motivate and develop responsibility of team members by constant involvement, coaching, and clear appraisal
• Actively participate in the main HR processes: planning, evaluation, coaching, and appraisal

How you can set yourself apart

• Extensive experience as a Travel Consultant or Teamleader
• Advanced skills with GDS system Amadeus
• Highly proficient English and French oral and written communication skills
• You work well under pressure
• Able to work independently with a high level of flexibility
• You thrive in a constantly changing environment
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem solving skills
