We’re a small group of writers, marketers, and creatives working together at ResNexus, a hospitality software company.

We specialize in helping hospitality professionals and property owners (think B&Bs, boutique hotels, RV parks, inns, and more) attract visitors to their websites, and increase their direct online bookings.

Ultimately, we believe that better data results in better content, which leads to online bookings for our clients.

The Travel Guide Writer Position

We are looking for a Travel Guide Writer.

We have a lot going on. We’re looking for someone who enjoys digging into research, writing, and bouncing ideas around with other writers to get work done.

The type of candidate we’re interested in is someone who can write for the hospitality industry, has traveled, and doesn’t mind filling out the new TPS Report cover sheets.

The successful candidate will continually learn SEO, marketing, and copywriting practices, and infuse that into a wide range of materials: travel guides, email nurture campaigns, website copy, ads, and more.

We’re looking for someone to write original content, proof and self-edit, and collaborate within a marketing team of other writers. Another responsibility includes evaluating Google Analytics to adjust content as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site position. There is no anticipated travel for this role, although employees are expected to work in the corporate office daily.

• Shows strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Has a strong foundational knowledge of current SEO practices and implementation.
• Is a skilled organizer with extreme attention to detail.
• Is deadline-oriented, and able to deliver high-quality work under pressure.
• Has excellent analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Requirements & preferred qualifications:

• 1 year (preferred) in an agency or client-side digital marketing setting
• College degree in Marketing or a relevant field preferred or comparable work experience in related industry
• Must work out of our Salem, UT office (no remote opportunities)
• 1 year experience of creating and managing Google Ads
• Familiar with the 2023 Google Ads interface
