The Main Purpose of the Job
Our Vancouver, Washington factory is currently seeking candidates for entry level Summer production positions. The positions are primarily responsible for the safe material handling of gable top milk cartons in our manufacturing process. Successful candidates will be trained in various production areas around the facility. You must have a keen focus on safety and quality and possess a continuous improvement mindset to be considered. Our goal is to produce cartons as per given methods and follow our continuous improvement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methods and quality parameters while maintaining our machines per our autonomous maintenance (AM) program. You will support the organization with clean up and miscellaneous tasks.
For Summer workers, the pay is $20.16 per hour. Must be able to work any shift in this 24/7 plant. Work is generally M-F with Saturdays as needed.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Have a "can do" attitude with good communication skills.
- Have a customer-centric approach to your work by maintaining quality standards.
- Demonstrate a commitment to working safely.
- Perform material handling in our various production areas within the factory. To perform these positions, you must be able to stand, walk, lift, stack, bend, twist, push and pull.
- Enter data in our computer-based production data collection system (P2).
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, such as working on teams, participate in autonomous maintenance (AM) activities, create and remove tags, and develop and improve processes.
Critical Experience
We provide on the job training for Summer Workers.
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent. Technical education will be provided to teach you how to follow basic Tetra Pak work routines and standards.

- Follow all safety standards and procedures.
- Efficiently perform routine production tasks per established standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrate quality and efficiency output per industry standards.
- Learn and demonstrate World Class Manufacturing for continuous improvement.
- Learn and demonstrate autonomous maintenance skills to build sustainable performance.
Key Relationships
Managers, supervisors, process experts, shift leaders, operators, co-workers, colleagues in other functions in the factory, vendors and visitors.
