SupplyHouse.com is looking for a full-time Senior Frontend Developer to combine the art of design with the art of programming. The selected individual will lead our talented Frontend Team, work with our Graphic Designers, and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. This individual will also take an active role on both sides, define how the application looks as well as how it works, and drive changes to improve the experience. Come create with us!
This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters for up to four times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.
A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. However, you may utilize our Flex-Time Policy to work your preferred schedule
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Frontend Developers and serve as a mentor role to team members
- Develop new user-interface (UI) components as well as build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and the Backend Development Team to ensure tech and design are in sync, and to deliver client facing products
- Review code written by Frontend Developers
- Ensure industry standard development best practices are observed, including accessibility and privacy compliance
- Monitor awareness and implementation of SEO best practices
- Keep up with the latest Frontend technology in the industry and make recommendations to use/migrate to them
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in Responsive Web Design and proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), Bootstrap, and Node.js
- 6+ years of experience in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery, Vue.js, ReactJS, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in ReactJS (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
- In-depth understanding of RESTful services/APIs and asynchronous programming
- Experience with JS Frontend unit/integration testing and client-side monitoring tools (Sentry)
- Experience with state management library (Redux and Vuex)
- Experience with object storage services (S3)
- Experience translating prototypes and designs into clean, valid, and launch-ready mark-up
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them as well as a passion for producing pixel perfect code
- Experience with CSS pre-processing frameworks (Sass or Less)
- Knowledge of CMS systems (WordPress and Joomla)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
