Fabric8Labs, headquartered in sunny San Diego, CA, is revolutionizing metal additive manufacturing with advanced 3D printing technologies. We’re looking for a skilled Printhead Manufacturing Technicianto join our team.

As a Printhead Manufacturing Technician you’ll be working hands-on to fabricate, assemble, and test Printheads in a low volume production environment. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment and will be required to learn new systems and methods quickly as we ramp our production capacity from low to high volume. You will be encouraged to help improve the production process by providing feedback to engineers. You should enjoy being meticulous and take pride in the quality of your work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Fabrication technician focused on operating semiconductor bonding equipment
• Self monitor work through routine quality checks
• Keep production line clean and organized
• Learn new processes and techniques quickly
• Help evolve production line by providing feedback to engineers
• Perform quality checks and inspections as required
• Hands-on fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a production environment
• Experience operating in a prototype production process
• Experience ensuring high quality work
• Knowledge of different fabrication techniques
• Able to interpret wants and needs and build fixtures that meet requirements
• Enjoys challenging technical problems and finding practical solutions
• Self motivated and able to work with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated hands-on equipment and troubleshooting experience

• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Routinely required to move around the facility.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• May require travel (domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs, up to 10%
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
