Position Summary:

The Market Access Marketing Manager, EMEA is responsible for the development and implementation of the Market Access and Payor marketing strategic and tactical plan. The person will develop strategy and tactics for Dexcom across all Payor channels and indications. This individual will partner closely with Local Markets, Health Authorities, Payor National Accounts, Partners and Distributers to ensure that the Payor and access tactics are aligned with overall Dexcom brand strategy. The person in this role will be responsible for providing Payor perspective for launch preparation to full lifecycle management for the brand.

Your role will include the following:

  • Actively contributes to the brand planning process, including market access strategy and tactical planning, in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Works in conjunction with local and regional development and coordination of market access strategy across both commercial and government Payors for Dexcom, ensuring that Payor and access tactics (i.e value messaging, formulary kit, etc.) including those executed by the National Accounts Team in local markets are aligned with the overall brand strategy.
  • Communicating the value of Dexcom product in reimbursed and non-reimbursed markets and the pharmacy channel.
  • Proactively considers/identifies new strategies, areas of opportunity, and tactics to challenge thinking and raise the level of brand performance.
  • Identifies the need for Payor market research and Payor advisory boards and from this actionable business critical insights.
  • Develop a holistic plan for Market Access Marketing across 30 countries.
  • Establishes key performance indicators for Payor tactics and monitors progress.
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial training to develop and deliver training for Payor plans of action and tools.
  • Supports promotional pieces in the review process and ensures materials are compliant.
  • Supports and aligns execution of business cases related to access opportunities to assess value to brand.
  • Drives effective implementation of promotional materials and pull through programmes by providing appropriate direction to National Accounts team, Sales, and Sales Training.
  • Leverage market data, customer segmentation, competition mapping, and value proposition to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Builds overall brand awareness, recognises, and reacts to market trends, and delivers localised campaigns to meet aggressive growth targets.
  • Propose and implement plans and tactics to grow the business and leverage influencers withing the Payor Community.
  • Manages all market intelligence activities in order to provide data and analysis to the relevant team member.
  • Establishes KPIs for all programs, create results forecasts, and track performance to ensure marketing plans are delivering expected business outcomes.
  • Support field (and partner) needs including brand training and best in class tactical tools for engagement with customers in face to face and remote/digital settings.
  • Provide strong project management/leadership on key communications activities and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time with a high level of quality, in accordance with Compliance, Legal and Regulatory requirements.

Required Experience:

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. The successful candidate will have:

  • Approx. 10 years Market Access Marketing experience with a demonstrated record of working across Payors and key internal teams.
  • Healthcare background, with experience with HCPs, Payors and strong background of meeting results.
  • Previous experience in working with channels that are distributed via the pharmacy model.
  • Experience in developing Payor and segment specific marketing insights and incorporating the Payor into the brand/strategic planning process.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience scaling projects, both online and offline in a consumer-focused healthcare/technology company.
  • Strong social skills and collaborative style, able to work with multiple partners simultaneously and influence.
  • A strategic thinker unfazed by occasional ambiguity and good at adapting to change.
  • High degree of creativity to support ideation of marketing campaigns that appeal to a diverse range of customers.
  • Savvy and comfortable making recommendations using different digital channels and platforms.
  • Proven people management experience.
  • A strong knowledge of building, and gaining alignment to, a suite of reporting metrics that drive ROI and inform performance.
  • A deep appreciation for detail and executional excellence. You will be insights-driven and excited to roll-up your sleeves to deliver exceptional quality at speed.
  • Experience working with legal, regulatory, and marketing agencies.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
