Long-Term Substitute Teacher

Elementary

Qualifications:

• Active PA Certification - Elementary, required
• Classroom experience

Deadline: Open Until Filled

• Letter of interest

• Certificate
• 3 letters of recommendation
• Transcripts – school issued – undergrad and grad; not from a college or university website
• Current (less than one year old) clearances: Child Abuse, PA State Policy Criminal History, FBI Fingerprint Record

NOTE: A limited number of files can be attached. You may need to group some documents and scan them as a single file. Suggested groupings:

• Clearances (must be less than one year old)
• Transcripts
• Letters of recommendation

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.

Additional documents that are required for employment but are not required to apply:

• Completion of PA Act 168 Disclosure Release Form(s) – successful candidates will receive electronic notification
