Brandywine Living is seeking a passionate hospitality professional to lead our Dining Room. As a Dining Room Manager you are a leader, mentor and you will develop our FOH (front of house) team through proper training of dining room etiquette and customer service skills so that every experience in our dining room meets and exceeds our restaurant standards.
The Dining Room Manager oversees all operations of the Brandywine dining room(s) collaborating with Director of Dining Services They are responsible for shaping a resident and/or guests dining experience by maintaining the dining room's appearance, hiring and training quality staff, staffing and scheduling of servers, and ensuring good customer service. Front of house managers are "people-people" with strong organization and leadership skills. A talent for conflict resolution is also important for addressing customer complaints and handling staff disputes.

Requirements:
- 2+ years restaurant manager/supervisory experience
- 5+ years fine / upscale / casual plus dining
- Demonstrated commitment to hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity
- Ability to create an effective schedule to ensure proper dining room coverage
- Ability to model and train team members on dining standards
- Maintain patient, tactful, and professional composure at all times
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions
Moves intermittently during working hours and subject to frequent interruptions.May be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel and visitors and must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.

Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and ability to work effectively with residents, personnel and support agencies. Position requires proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills; interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and incompatibilities, decision-making skills; minimal typing skills; auditory and visual skills, and the ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, and push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
