Job Description

We are looking for a rockstar candidate to be our Content Coordinator, supporting two key brands that we publish. This is not a typical “desk job” or meant for someone that wants to kick back and relax. You will be asked to come up with unique ideas, thrive on innovation and think outside the box. The ideal candidate is savvy with social media, has a natural talent to interact with others online and isn’t afraid to “go viral”.

We are looking for a self-motivated person with a knack for developing an engaged audience over social media and other digital channels. This role is responsible for creating, reviewing, editing and posting content for two trading experts. Content is expected to be published on all major platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and website(s).

Candidates will also be required to brainstorm and suggest newer ways and platforms to increase their current customer segment and increase the target market. This includes things like posting short form copy, interacting with comments, repurposing existing content, creating eye-catching thumbnails, promoting fresh ideas and staying on top of breaking news.

The Content Coordinator will also be responsible for staying on top of trending topics in real time as well as researching the latest trends in video content creation and implementing them across the various channels. They are expected to work simultaneously with the internal teams to maintain consistency between marketing campaigns, editorial webinars and other content published.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive content calendar with minimum posting schedule across each platform
  • Work with the marketing & editorial teams to get an understanding of the short/long term goals to develop content strategies accordingly
  • Create social media account as needed (new platforms, rebranded accounts, etc)
  • Creating content which will catch maximum customer interest
  • Understand how to create a “household brand” through social media and
  • Fearlessly interact with other profiles in the financial/trading space to build relationships with influencers, which will enhance future marketing efforts and brand recognition
  • Develop consistent content strategy for each assigned brand
  • Writing and reviewing content for websites, social media pages and other digital channels
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to decide the brand taglines, logo and other promotional material
  • Measuring and monitoring social media traffic statistics
  • Monitor the increase in traffic due to new content and take actions accordingly to improve the traffic metrics
  • Brainstorming and suggesting new ways to improve the traffic by tapping into new platforms and channels
  • Ensure that the content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws
  • Identify customers needs in relation to the company and write content to cater those needs
  • Update the website, social media and content pages as needed
  • Conducting research on the key SEO terms and incorporating them into the content to achieve maximum reach
  • Provide each guru with key topics to discuss for “on the fly” video creation to ride a trending topic wave
  • Collect competitive intelligence through market research and communicate back to gurus and marketing team to collaborate on best content to publish at the right time

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience managing a social media platform
  • Proven ability to drive audience engagement and overall traffic
  • Project management skills
  • Strong content creation skills
  • Attention to detail & solution-driven mentality
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to self-check work and troubleshoot any issues
  • Ability to collaborate closely with team members.
  • Basic video editing and thumbnail creation experience
  • Knowledge of finance, trading and direct response publishing a plus (not required)

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Tampa, FL or Miami, FL (nearby either city)

Pay: $35k, with long-term incentives to earn additional comp as skills develop

Reports to: Lance Ippolito, Jeff Zananiri (trade experts, “gurus”)
