GEM Mobile Treatment Services, an Evergreen North America Company is the world-wide leader in vapor control and waste water treatment services. We operate throughout the continental US, offering services ranging from thermal tank degassing, marine loading vapor control, vapor reduction of vessel and units related to turnaround activity, emissions control using a variety of liquid scrubbing technologies, liquid and vapor phase carbon adsorption, and oil-water separation. GEM has a history of bringing a solutions-orientated approach to customer environmental challenges.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Develop understanding and knowledge of project setup, preparation and operation of Wastewater, Scrubber, Carbon Monitoring and/or Tank Degassing equipment and procedures.
• Equipment identification and inspection (hoses, vessels, fittings, pumps, blowers…)
• Understanding Hazard Communications
• Proper Chemical Safety and Handling
• Operation Record Keeping
• Equipment identification and inspection (hoses, pumps, vessels, fittings…)
• Develop understanding and safe operation of company vehicles including logs, DVIR and procedures.
• Develop understanding of hazardous material transportation, bill of ladings, and associated paperwork.
• Perform vapor monitoring, calibration, record keeping and maintenance.
• Develop understanding of company structure, resources and communication lines.
• Gain a complete understanding for monitoring carbon systems.
• Gain understanding of Site safety, site permits, air quality permits and associated logs.

• 1 year minimum experience in industry if not previously employed by GEM Mobile Treatment Services.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Basic math skill.
• Skilled and qualified in primary service line.
• Good equipment knowledge.
• Good communication skills, written and oral.
• Perform work in enclosed (confined) space, under close supervision.
• Pass an annual written examination during annual review period.
• Possess and Maintain as a minimum, CDL Class A license .
