Accounting Administrator - Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with creating and editing financial documents.
- Assist clients with receiving and supplying documents.
- Prepare and maintain entity formation documents.
- Apply for various government tax accounts.
- Fill out audit paperwork and compliance reports.
- Organize the bookkeeping processes of the company.
- Draft and report financial presentations.
- Maintain A/P for large clients using a cloud-based platform.
- Schedule payments and mail tax forms.
- Assist in preparing individual and business tax returns.
Education and experience requirements:
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to an associate degree or two years of college credits in accounting or business or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1- 2 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and administrative activities preferred, including demonstrated interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Project management experience is desirable.
- Can work well with others and with minimal supervision and able to perform a wide variety of duties effectively and accurately in an organized, efficient, and timely manner; exercise sound judgment and work with confidentiality and discretion; and be adaptable to change.
- Demonstrate evidence of effective communication skills – both written and oral.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks Online, and Desktop. Experience working in a financial environment is strongly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
