Job Description:

Role: Water Resources Engineer

Location: Watkins, CO

Job type: Full Time/Permanent

Primary Responsibilities:

· Design Water And Wastewater Infrastructure projects including water collection, treatment, storage, and distribution facilities. This task includes all aspects of project management including surveying, regulatory approvals, permitting, design, specification writing, submittal review, material costing and purchasing, inspections, pay applications, and management of consultants, construction crews, and contractors.

· Create reports and aid with contracts between various water and wastewater customers.

· Review and track infrastructure acceptance materials following construction including inspection videos, pressure test data, and as-builts.

· Manage the District's tap fee applications and invoicing.

· Create exhibits and application materials for new water sources.

· Participate in the streamlining and improvement of water billing, District rules and regulations, and design standards.

Education Requirements:

· B.S. in Engineering, M.S. preferred.

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Minimum of 3-7 years' experience in the Water/Wastewater industry

· Colorado PE License or the ability to obtain licensure within two years of hire

· Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Suite, surveying software/instrumentation, GIS Software

· Must have a valid Colorado driver license in good standing

· Infrastructure inspections require continued standing, walking along uneven ground at construction sites, crawling, and climbing in/out of trenches. Occasional lifting of items <45 lbs required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
