Warehouse Associate

Job Description:

Performs warehouse functions by performing the duties listed below. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Receiving stone slabs via company and/or client's trucks.
• Loading and unloading stone slabs using overhead cranes or Hi-Lo.
• Stacking and un-stacking product.
• Preparing and checking orders for shipment.
• Performing physical tasks — lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Order pulling.
• Use of motorized forklifts and pallets jacks.
• Maintaining an orderly warehouse and clean work area.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties with accuracy.

Qualifications/requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated and works well in a team environment
• Able to work with a diverse group of people
• Quick learner
• Should have a valid driver's license
• Chauffer license prefered

Experience/Training:

Prefer six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

We are looking for a Warehouse person to start in our Detroit facility located in Shelby Twp, MI.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)
