Scope of Job

The role of the Veterans Customer Service position is to answer calls, retrieve voice and email messages, research issues, perform bi-weekly payrolls, provide customer service to Veterans and their employees, and track budget expenses. Likewise, this position will monitor veteran payroll email account. This entails review of all incoming emails, printing/saving the timesheets attached, date stamping all timesheets, invoices or enrollment packets that are received through the email account and responding to all incoming inquiries or submissions. In addition, this position will aid the VDC Program Specialist in employer enrollments by processing and entering the employer into FMS Engine.

Qualifications and Skills Level:

· High School Diploma

· Experience in Customer Service and Clerical Duties

· Communicate effectively, Both Orally and Written

· Computer skills (Windows, MS Office Suite and Agency supported software)

· Ability to represent the organization’s project needs to external and internal customers

· Maintain a Professional/Respectful Appearance and Attitude and represent the Agency

· Develop and Maintain positive relationships with Customers, Agencies and Employees

· Ability to Maintain Confidentiality

Additional Requirements:

· Provide support to other Customer Service and Data Entry staff, as needed

· Meet with clients in person on site to answer and review programs

· Other duties, as assigned by Supervisor

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

· Answer Incoming phone calls, return phone calls

· Payroll and related customer service

· Make phone calls related to time sheet issues, problems or other requests

· Retrieve and process requests from FEA and Time Sheet Voice Mail

· Mail out time sheets, packets, schedules, envelopes and any other requested information

· Research and handle issues with time sheets, payments, budgets or other requests

· Process enrollment packet background checks

· Open and sort incoming mail, print and mail reports

· Provide information about products and services

· Utilize resources such as other Representatives, Supervisors or Managers

This position requires physical presence at primary location in White River Junction, Vermont, 72 South Main Street

Pay: $18.50 - $19.25 per hour
