We are looking for a Housekeeping Inspector for the New Braunfels/Canyon Lake Area. New Braunfels Escapes is looking for a reliable, hardworking, self motivated, and detail-oriented person to join our team who will conduct inspections of guests and owners’ units and common areas for all of our properties to ensure compliance with all standards of operations, quality and productivity and excellence in providing service to guests and owners of the properties by completing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned. Employee may have to do light maintenance work while at a property (IE changing a light bulb, unclogging a toilet, etc.) This job is physically demanding at times. All our properties are in New Braunfels/Canyon Lake (around 140 properties currently). Area travel is imperative to the job, so you must provide a valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and proof of insurance. You will also be required to pass a background check. Must be able to work Wednesday - Sunday.

- Routinely inspects units and common areas to ensure property is compliant with New Braunfels Escapes standards for cleanliness and maintenance.

- Reviews status of assignments and any follow up action with manager or supervisor.

- Communicates with cleaning crew regarding problems which need their attention.

- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

- Examines carpets, flooring, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear. These issues must be reported to your supervisor.

- Checks and counts linens and supplies.

- Must have organization skills. Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in language understood by subordinates and management.

- Must understand and monitor housekeeping room cleanliness standards.

- Report safety hazards, theft of room items and items requiring repair to NBE management.

Pay will be based on experience. Starting at $15 per hour, plus an amount for gas based on mileage or hours worked. Job will be between Part Time and Full Time, depending on how many reservations we have the upcoming week.
