Xcel Energy's Transmission Construction Department is looking to fill a Truck Driver C thru A for the Amarillo, TX location.

Transmission Line anticipates a need for a Truck Driver C thru Driver/ Equipment Operator to work throughout the 54,000 square mile of SPS Service Territory, hauling material and equipment for constructing and maintaining transmission lines and Substations, operating equipment and all emergency repairs of our transmission and distribution system.

Required
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a valid Class A CDL License with Tanker & Double Triples (Hazmat Preferred)
Preferred to have 5 years’ experience driving semi, and running heavy tonnage
Must be able and willing to respond to after hour emergency work and callouts, and work extensive amounts of overtime
Requires very extensive overnight travel
Must be of excellent stature, lift and maneuver up to 90 lbs., use shovels, sledge hammers and jack hammers consistently through the day.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: Truck Driver C: $27.69, B: $31.06, A: $32.52, Driver/ Equipment Operator: $38.09
