Tiello has partnered with a General Contractor in North Sioux City, SD on their search for a Travel Superintendent. They specialize in industrial and commercial projects with a focus in food processing facilities, both ground-up and renovations/additions. They will do over $100M in revenue in 2023, have a $135M backlog, and a plan to triple in size by 2028. Their projects typically range in size from $5M-$75M and they currently work in South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Texas, Georgia, and Washington.

You will be paid $130-160k with a 10-20% yearly bonus. In addition to very competitive pay, they also offer:

DAY-TO-DAY:
In this position, you are critical to our success as you strategically develop plans and objectives, and coordinate schedules to ensure we meet our promises to our clients. As you perform a variety of site management tasks, your overall goal is to find and create strategies that produce winning results. Putting safety at the forefront of all you do, you guide the field forces through each day of the project. In collaboration with the project team, you will be a leader in developing plans and schedules for our projects that ensure we produce high-quality products while optimizing profits.
You diligently oversee and document the progress of our projects and quickly resolve issues as they arise. Safety and customer satisfaction is your top priority and you regularly meet with clients to keep them informed on the project's progress.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• 5+ years of site leadership experience with a background in industrial, food processing facilities, commercial, healthcare, education, mining, fertilizer facilities, or gas refinery projects
• Able to achieve partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives, and can establish credibility and influence with sub-contractors
• Expert knowledge of safe work practices and the means of methods of construction
• Skilled at logical planning, setting realistic goals, and managing complex operations and tasks
• Articulate and clear communication skills in verbal and written formats
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Confident and capable of independent work, takes initiative, sets priorities, and completes projects through to completion
• Possess a fundamental understanding of business financials and commercial knowledge
• Highly competent in using computers and the experience in or capability to learn Procore and Microsoft Office
