Travel Consultant
Full-time/Part-time, based in Belgium or Spain or Poland (BCD Office or Home Office)

As a Travel Consultant you will be the primary point of contact for one of our business customers. The position is open to experienced Travel Consultants, as well as junior candidates who are willing to learn. We will provide full training so you can develop into a travel expert!

A snapshot of this opportunity

• You will appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the client
• Search and confirm travel reservations for the client
• Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs and penalties
• Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
• Perform follow-up as needed and within the time frame promised to the client
• Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules

How can you set yourself apart

• Experience in a customer service-oriented position
• Preferably working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French or English and Dutch
• Knowledge of GDS Amadeus (preferred) or Sabre
• Excellent problem solving and/or critical thinking skills
• Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
