Traffic Clerk

THE COMPANY:

Our client specializes and provides comprehensive logistics solutions for the storage of various petroleum chemicals. They are seeking a Traffic Clerk Coordinator to join their TEXAS CITY team!

This position will be responsible for processing all truck activity for HAZARDOUS shipments and deliveries within the terminal.

This position would be a PERMANENT role, paying $21.50/hr. The hours for this position would be a DUPONT 12-hr shift schedule.

THE EXPERIENCE:

• Process all inbound/outbound trucks for Loading/unloading.
• Prepare and create all shipping documents for loadings.
• Verify load limits/restrictions to ensure DOT Standards are met.
• Verify loading restrictions for all Federal Regulation products.
• Provide operations with detailed instructions based on customer nominations.
• Maintain inventory of all Shipping supplies.

· Ensure terminal operations remain in compliance.

· Other duties as assigned.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

· TWIC CARD; REQUIRED

· 2+ years of Logistics Experience; REQUIRED

· Microsoft Office and SAP Software; REQUIRED

· Experience working with Chemicals: HUGE PLUS
