A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT ENGINEER

As a Technology Support Engineer, you're responsible for acting as a liaison between customers as well as our engineering team to ensure customer needs are met and the correct SCI products are offered. You provide product support both onsite and remotely for integration, installation, training, and post-installation product issues. Working alongside our internal engineering team, you assist with complex production projects and internal product training.

Additionally, you develop and deliver product training at multiple customer locations. You also participate in the development of new products and applications as well as promote SCI products. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT ENGINEER

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 5+ years of experience in the vacuum coating industry and working directly with magnetron cathodes, processes, and applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally

Experience with industrial controls, automation, and Solidworks would be a plus but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you highly organized and attentive to detail? Can you balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management? Do you work well both independently and in a collaborative setting?
