Job Summary:

We are a Sonoma County Winery with a Sacramento Tasting Room near the Golden 1 Center. We are seeking a wine loving professional with strong hospitality and wine industry experience to serve in our Tasting Room. The potential candidate must provide the highest level of professional customer service, must be dynamic and a motivated results-driven professional that fosters a collaborative work environment.

Tasting Room Associate:

• Greet customers promptly and courteously
• Conduct Wine Tasting Flights using verbiage consistent with Bailarin Cellars standards
• Promote the sales of wine and promote our Wine Club
• Execute Open and Close duties for daily operations and special events
• Stock/re-order wine, food and retail merchandise in the tasting room as needed
• Accurately perform daily wine inventory and money handling procedures
• Working efficiently and respectively with team members
• Always provides outstanding customer service
• Be willing to work evenings, weekends and special events

Qualifications:

• Wine Industry Experience: 2 years
• Hospitality: 5 years
• Certifications: Sommelier preferred
• Must have or obtain a valid California Food Handler Certificate
• Must have or obtain a valid ABC Responsible Beverage Server ID Number
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be 21 years or older

Job Type: up to 35 hours per week, Wednesday - Sunday, weekend/evening work availability a must

Wage: DOE plus Tips, Wine Club Sign Up incentives and Retail Bottle Sales commissions
