Join Serco in support of our Defense Service sector and Systems Integration and Installation Business Unit as a Logistics Consultant supporting the Tactical Afloat Networks Program Office (PMW 160). As a Logistics Consultant you will perform system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major PMW-160 systems, specifically Automated Digital Network System (ADNS).
In this role, you will:

Control the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.

Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.

Develop raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.

Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.

Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans. Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision.

Ensure program data is distributed to other Logistics team members as needed for Logistics product development, including CDMD-OA, ILS Checklists, Provisioning, ILS Packages, Technical Documentation, PMS, DMSMS, and PSD.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance and US Citizenship.
- Bachelors Degree and eight (8) years of experience; or twelve (12) years of experience and a high school diploma may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Must have a thorough knowledge of all areas of Logistics and Logistics product deliverables, including Provisioning, ILS Certifications, PMS, Technical Documentation, ILS Packages, CDMD-OA, PSD, DMSMS, and ECR process.

Must have technical, engineering, or logistics background involving hardware or software systems.
