We are seeking a Systems Administrator that will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of customer computer systems within the requirements, costs, and timelines specified. In this role, you will supervise the day-to-day maintenance and operations of computing systems throughout each customer location. You will interface directly to customer and
INTUITIVE stakeholders to assist a team in successfully coordinating, planning, and executing IT requirements for large exercises and events. This will include the owning complex systems throughout their lifecycle from planning to maintaining. You will be part of a team of talented and motivated network and system engineers that are reliable, competent, and capable of delivering mission-critical support to infrastructure to ensure security, optimization, and accessibility of systems.
A large part of this role is collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional networks; installing and configuring networking hardware; creating and implementing network security measures; conducting regular network performance tests and ensuring networking maintenance tasks are completed, as well as leading the completion of day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability with minimal interruption.
To accomplish this, you will need excellent communications skills within a highly motivated team environment along with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time/resource management skills to accomplish tasks efficiently. The salary range for this role is $68,000 to $110,000 annually. Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
Required
- Bachelor of Science in IT-related or computer science field
- Requires five (5) years relevant experience and a proven ability with Computer Networks, Windows and Linux Operating System, Network Administration, Network Installation, Computer Hardware and Software
- Security+ certification
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Desired
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems
- Experience with virtualization (KVM, Ansible, VMWare hypervisor/vSphere v6.5)
