Senior Sales Compensation Analyst
Covetrus – Remote; Midwest or East Coast (US)

Covetrus is seeking a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst. This position administers compensation & bonus plans for the outside & inside sales force. Creates compiles, analyzes, and reports on all facets of sales force compensation, underlying data, and tracking systems. Acts as the primary administrator for the Callidus Cloud compensation software package, including program entry, modeling, testing, and reporting. Works closely with Sales Operations & Sales Force leadership to provide support & training. Prepares and presents compensation plan performance to senior leadership. Ad hoc reporting for compensation related analysis.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Information Technology (or equivalent combination of education and experience), required.
Work Experience / requirements
- Minimum of three years’ successful experience in business, accounting, compensation, or Information Technology.
- Experience in a medium to large-sized sales organization preferred.
Experience with Callidus Cloud or other ICM software package preferred.
- Experience providing excellent customer service and building rapport with internal/external entities.
- Prefer experience with mainframe systems (JBA – AS/400)
- Experience working with Senior Management on development projects a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to bring them to completion.
- Advanced Excel skills required. (Formulas, mathematical logic, etc.) Demonstrated proficiency in Sequel or similar logic engines with AS/400 queries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- High attention to detail, accurate and organized
- Proven critical thinking and processing skills with attention to following up on open items.
Responsibilities:
Compensation Planning & Tracking:
- Work with Management to determine compensation plans, including testing of plan details and developing reporting at Sales Representative level
- Build Annual Comp Structure & Plan documents
- Build and maintain proper tracking of performance versus compensation goals, using data queries from various sources including Salesforce.com and data warehouse
- Works with Sales and Sales Operations leadership to implement desired modifications to pay & bonus plans
- Produces monthly accrual file for Accounting & Finance teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Extracts and provides sales commission calculations for Management & Executive approval, and HR payouts
- Receives and resolves sales force inquiries through various portals, processes, and communicates resolutions
- Completes audit requests and maintains strong partnership with legal team.
Other Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relevant KPI tracking around sales initiatives and company goals
- Produce performance reporting on initiatives / programs, which can include analysis on:
- - Sales & Marketing Promotions
- - New customers
- - Program ROI Additional Ad hoc reporting as needed

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
