*JOB SUMMARY*
This position will support Kitting Division Operations by monitoring and analyzing master data quality and integrity, primarily within Product, Vendor, Regulatory, and Manufacturing domains, as well as master data relationships within the organization
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contributes to the implementation of master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality
• Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
• Contributes to development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity. Creates master data flow and business process flowcharts
• In collaboration with subject matter experts and master data management, defines and implements data governance strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the domain master data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable
• Defines, designs, and builds dimensional databases (SQL and/or MS Access-based) in order to pull large amounts of data from the key source systems and build prototypes of the optimum master data architecture, KPI dashboards, MDM tools as business cases for Corporate IT to develop and automate as on-going master governance tools and meet internal/external customer needs
• Assists with building a centralized master data dictionary
• Works closely with the Business/Business Systems/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules
• Contributes to master data cleansing to rid the system of old, unused data, invalid, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access
• Assists with translating business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse designs to ensure that business needs are met

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education

• Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science, industrial engineering, supply chain analytics or related field

Work Experience

• 4+ years' of experience in master data management, data analysis, data architecture, computer programming preferred
• Experience pulling, analyzing, merging large data files from multiple data sources
• Experience with SQL, MS Access, Excel macros

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Solid analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to identify root causes and connect them to corresponding outcomes
• Solid presentation and communication skills to collaborate with internal customers, team members, external providers, and management
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team
