Your Career

As a Senior Manager for ASIC Design Verification, you will lead a world-class team of engineers to ensure that the ASICs in our groundbreaking next-generation firewall products meet or exceed industry-leading requirements for features, performance, and reliability. You will advise on product definition, architecture, and design. You will lead in the pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation phases of the product development cycle. This includes test planning, testbench development, creating tests, running simulations, debugging, and closing coverage.

  • Collaborate with leaders in product management, architecture, and design to define ASICs optimized across features, performance, cost, and time-to-market
  • Lead cross-functional teams to complete all aspects of pre-silicon verification (simulation, emulation, formal) in a timely manner with first-silicon success
  • Work closely with stakeholders in hardware engineering and software QA to lead post-silicon validation initiatives that bring the overall system to market on time and with high quality of results
  • Lead critical engagements with EDA vendors
  • Drive continuous improvements to tools, flows, and methodologies that enhance engineering productivity
  • Be a strong mentor and coach to the team

Qualifications


Your Experience

  • BS in EE, CE, or CS required - MSEE preferred or equivalent military experience required
  • 12+ years of experience in highly technical roles in ASIC verification at large organizations or innovative startups
  • Demonstrated success in taking multiple ASICs from concept to mass production
  • Strong domain expertise in all aspects of pre-silicon verification
  • Experience leading post-silicon validation initiatives
  • Good understanding of computer networking from layers 1 to 4
  • Required strengths -
    • SystemVerilog, UVM, and functional coverage
    • Writing powerful, modular, and scalable programs in Python and UNIX shell to automate verification tasks
    • Project management fundamentals - Building schedules, optimizing critical paths, and managing resource allocation
    • Deploying metric driven verification flows - planning, execution, measurement, and response
  • Preferred experience -
    • Emulation
    • Formal verification
    • Defining unit-level testing frameworks
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Accomplished in writing technical documents and making compelling presentations

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $159,800/yr to $258,500/yr.
