In its search for a Sr. Electrician, Eastridge Workforce Solutions is collaborating with a company that has pioneered the pursuit of the cleanest and most cost-effective path to providing electricity with hydrogen-boron. This is a Direct Hire position with a 5am to 2:30pm shift.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to procure, build, install, end-to-end connection and commissioning of all power distribution within the facility.
• Maintain production machines and plant facility’s electrical equipment.
• Plan, layout, install, document and repair a wide variety of complex electrical equipment including automatic machine and preprocess controls, control centers and panels, relays, circuit breakers, electronic controls.
• Diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on electrical boards, machines and plant systems.
• Support operation of high voltage, high current power distribution equipment and experimental systems.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, fiber optic cabling, equipment, and fixtures.
• Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.

Required Skills

• Perform a variety of electrical and mechanical tasks, maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Knowledge and use of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and diagnostics equipment, as well as various material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of pipe benders, cable pullers, and other heavy ancillary equipment preferred.
• Soldering experience preferred.
• Aerial equipment experience required.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must have strong safety awareness and knowledge of isolation procedures for systems containing stored energy.
• Ability to prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
