Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Senior Enterprise Architect opportunity available based in Norfolk, VA. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

The Senior Enterprise Architect shall serve as the Government’s point of contact and provide supervision and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned to the Military Sealift Command Information Technology Engineering Systems Services (MSC ITESS) contract.

The Senior Enterprise Architect shall be able to demonstrate an understanding of the MSC Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems (C4S) requirements in relation to the MSC missions and understand the MSC strategic and technical needs as well as an expert level ability to understand the business domain of MSC and business problems, with the intent to solve the business problems. The Senior Enterprise Architect must understand enterprise architecture frameworks and enterprise IT management frameworks, identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets. The Senior Enterprise Architect must possess strong presentation and written communication skills and a high degree of comfort with technical and executive audiences and expert level ability to interact with senior leadership within a customer or partner organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10 years’ experience in Enterprise Architect level positions or above related to enterprise-level infrastructure management, software design or development, infrastructure architecture, content distribution, database architecture; IP networking; IT security; data center operations; enterprise applications.
• B.S. Degree in engineering, math and/or science
• M.S. Degree from an institution accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or equivalent experience.
• Certified Green Belt required.
• Minimum SECRET clearance is required.
• DOD Directive 8570.01 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III Certification such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP or equivalent

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Integrated Enterprise Architect Practitioner (CIEAP) or similar Certifications
• FEAC certified Black Belt or equivalent.
• Experience using the DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
• Information Technology Information Library Certified (ITIL)
• Experience using Rational System Architect
• Experience using Rational DOORS and Traceline

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. • Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
• Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
• May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
