This role is based in Dallas, TX and offers a 3 days in office/2 days remote hybrid set up.

Position Summary:

As KidKraft continues to expand our business globally, we look for the best and brightest to drive strategic business decisions. To this end, we are looking for a talented individual to join the team as Senior Accountant. The accountant is a member of the accounting team and is primarily responsible for executing day-to-day accounting activities, analyzing account, and ensuring date for month end reporting is accurate.

Major Responsibilities:

• Month-end closing for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intangible assets, accrued liabilities and bank accounts
• Oversee the processing and reporting of month-end close
• Month-end consolidation of foreign subsidiaries
• Prepare monthly consolidation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Review general ledger accounts and daily/monthly journal entries
• General ledger account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Financial analysis of the balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Conduct internal control evaluations
• Ascertain whether company assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded from loss
• Assist with audit fieldwork for the annual financial audit
• Other duties as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, including general ledger activities, account reconciliations and accounting close cycle
• Strong Excel skills (V-lookups, other formulas & pivot tables)
• Strong communication and organizational skills, detail oriented
• Must thrive in a fast-paced highly collaborative environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization
• High level of energy and enthusiasm; strong initiative for anticipating and meeting business demands

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• CPA, eligible for CPA or working towards CPA
