Job description
This position performs the duties of assisting full time employees in the sanitary sewer cleaning and maintenance. This position requires working in city streets following safety procedures. The work to be performed will be during the summer months from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday. This position works under the supervision of the Utilities Lead Person and Utilities Superintendent.
- Assist with sanitary sewer cleaning and maintenance
- Sanitary manhole inspections
- Assist in sanitary lift station maintenance
- Assist with sewer pipeline camera inspections
- Cleaning of city vehicles
Must possess a High School diploma and a Class D drivers license. Able to operate an I-Pad, drive a pickup with trailer, run a chain saw, weed whip, lawn mower, pressure washer, magnetic locator, and line tracer.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit and talk or hear use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in indoor and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT PROCESS
