Essential Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences within the classroom
• Use a variety of teaching techniques including modeling, observing, demonstrating, open-ended questioning and reinforcing.
• Keep classroom clean, neat, organized and inviting to children and families.
• Hold bi-annual parent-teacher conferences. Be available to conference with families at other times as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality when discussing issues relating to any child.
• Offer leadership to assistant teacher and other co-workers throughout the center.
