Job description
WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION:
- Operate rollback / wrecker vehicles
- Ability to manage time and be efficient in loads per dispatch assignment
- Perform daily pre & post trip inspections of truck
- Ability to hook/unhook equipment
- Ability to safely secure cargo (tarp, strap, chain, climb 6 ft. ladder, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Pickup and delivery of salvage automobiles.
- Ability to communicate in professional manner with customers at pick up/delivery of vehicles.
- Follow all safety rules of the company and customers facilities.
- Compliance with employee handbook and health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- All other duties assigned. (After training period, work will be assigned in office or on yard when runs are not available.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Class C License with clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass Drug Screen
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment in production areas – Steel Toed Boots, Hard hat, Vest and Safety Glasses
- Ability to work standing for up to 9 hours.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
