This position is based out of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and will require travel to other regional airports 50%-70% of the time. This is not a remote position. Days worked when not traveling will be in the SEA airport.

$70,000-$85,000 per year based on experience plus bonus potential

The Restaurant Inventory Control Manager is an operational site support position responsible for the administration, data input, analysis, and system reporting for the SSP ordering, recipe & inventory management system (CrunchTime). The position is under the direct supervision of the airport Director of Operations or Regional VP but is also guided by SSP corporate finance including Purchasing, Receiving, Transfer and Inventory Policies and Procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Onsite management & maintenance of all daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks in CrunchTime. Primary duties include:
  • Enforcing SSP purchasing, receiving, inventory policy & procedures.
  • Purchase-Order process and accuracy
  • Invoice data entry reconciliation process & accuracy
  • Daily Prep/Production process & accuracy
  • Transfer process, transfer sheet maintenance & accuracy
  • Count sheet maintenance & accuracy
  • Ending inventory process. Data capture, input, review & final posting procedures.
  • Company product/ingredient accuracy and support requests.
  • Recipe accuracy and support requests.
  • Point of Sale (POS) data accuracy and support requests.
  • Inventory system user maintenance and new user system training.
  • Review and analyze company product, recipe and menu theoretical costs for commercial viability and cost controls.
  • System Reporting (Purchasing Reports, Cost of Sales Reports, Waste Reports, AvT Reports, Transfer Reports)
  • Manage location interface with vendor portal for invoice/credit document retrieval and ensure that all invoices/credits are processed, and payments applied.
  • Manage vendor credits process through Infosys.
  • Manager New Vendor Request
  • Manage the On-line payments needs, and Urgent Special Payment Request meet deadlines as needed.
  • Sharing best practices in Inventory Management with other locations and increasing the learning curve.
  • Company and/or regional initiative tracking.
  • Report as necessary system related issues and data requests to corporate inventory support manager.
  • Other related duties as needed or as assigned by manager.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or applicable experience is preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years inventory control experience and restaurant experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (with particular emphasis on Excel using spreadsheets) and Windows Operating System
  • Experience with Micros POS (point of sale) preferred
  • Experienced in supporting or training Inventory applications
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using technical skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail with accuracy, follow-up skills, and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and among cross-functional teams with minimal supervision, ability to juggle multiple tasks while adapting quickly, and effectively prioritize assigned job duties to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively and timely complete assigned tasks and projects as assigned. Ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change and do so with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle conflict, work under pressure/deal with high pressure and stressful scenarios, and resolve uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, and peers and do so while exercising sound judgement and decision making
