Crown Staffing is searching for a Resident Aide position for a Senior Residential Community in Columbus, Ohio. The Resident Aide will be responsible for supporting the Residents' well-being, assisting with personal services and social-recreational activities, etc. This is a full-time, 12-hour day shift position with pay starting at $14 per hour.

Resident Aide Job Details

Hours | 7AM- 7PM |Rotating Schedule + Everyother Weekend

Residential Aide Job Details:

• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Receives and gives reports from the previous shift.
• Reads the staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required. Assists with orientation of new staff to job responsibilities.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• Assists with laundry service.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents.
• Observes problems, concerns, and issues with Resident units, the building, and the grounds and communicates them appropriately.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately. Observes other problems and communicates them appropriately.
• Observes all work, safety, and administrative rules.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Avoids loss, breakage, and waste of supplies and equipment.
• Assists with individual Resident and group social recreational activities.
• Notifies nurse, and/or designated agent(s) of Resident status/change as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

RA Requirements

• Willingness to adhere to assisted living principles in providing services.
• Ability/willingness to perform all position responsibilities adequately.
• Keeps all information confidential.
• Maintains acceptable attendance record/follows work schedule.
• Displays cleanliness, good grooming, personal appearance and follows dress requirements consistently. Organizes and utilizes time appropriately toward accomplishing assigned tasks; requires minimal supervision. Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action.
• Displays ability/willingness to learn new skills and to teach others.
