The Wellness Recovery Center is a Region Ten department that supports wellness for both clients AND staff. We are seeking part-time nurses to join our close-knit treatment team. Although we employ a nursing team and psychiatrist, the Wellness Recovery Center is truly multidisciplinary and develops individualized treatment plans for clients based on the biopsychosociospiritual model of mental health. Work alongside therapists, social workers, case managers, and frontline support staff in a comfortable environment to support those in the community experiencing major life crises. The Wellness Recovery Center is a well-known 16 bed short-term residential mental health crisis stabilization unit. The position will be responsible for oversight of consumer safety throughout shift, medication reconciliation, storage/handling and administration, vital sign and general health data collection, and completion/coordination of lab work. Incumbent will collaborate with the treatment team to promote optimal outcomes. The RN will assume responsibility of acceptable nursing practices among nursing staff and oversight to medical service activities within the program. In addition to charge and triage functions, will complete admission assessment, offer health/wellness education, monitor consumers for potential medication side effects, review lab results, audit medication administration, give consultation to other clinical staff regarding health care issues and plan of care, and assist with referrals to other medical facilities. Region Ten requires all current and future employees to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Licensed as with an LPN or RN in Virginia is a requirement.
LPN: Starting salary of $20.02/hour with generous shift differential plus benefits. Negotiable.
RN: Starting salary of $24.22/hour with generous shift differential plus benefits. Negotiable.
