Recruiting and Retention Bonus
Family Tree is offering a $300 hiring bonus paid on the first paycheck after hired. In addition, Family Tree is offering a
retention bonus of $500 after 12 months of employment and $700 after 18 months of employment

Job Summary and Responsibilities
This is a Relief or on-call position that supervises visits with children and a non-residential parent, ensuring safety
(physical, mental and emotional) for the child. The position documents visitations and provides feedback to parents.

Example Activities

  • Supervise parenting time sessions.
  • Complete parenting time documentation.
  • Provide communication with other professionals involved with clients as requested.
  • Provide support for staff, volunteers and interns as needed.

  • Ability to work effectively with persons in crisis and trauma from diverse populations
  • Ability to work from a strengths-based, client-centered, and inclusive approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, community, and team
  • Ability to think critically and make difficult decisions
  • Ability to learn quickly, attend to details, and adapt well to change.
  • Ability to use de-escalation techniques
  • Knowledge of the dynamics of high conflict divorce and domestic violence upon children and victim parents,

child abuse and neglect, child development (infancy through adolescence) mental health and substance
abuse issues

  • Ability to use computer proficiently, including web-based database platforms (HMIS experience preferred)
and Office 365.
Preferred Education and Experience
• Lived experience and/or professional experience working with vulnerable populations preferred OR
  • Education in a human service related field (social work, psychology, etc.) preferred

Location: 1777 Kipling Street, Lakewood
Program: Parenting Time Program

Full/Part time Status: Relief/On-call
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.21
Benefits: Not eligible for benefits
Travel Requirements: None
Schedule: Varied schedule on an as needed basis.
Working Conditions: This position works at the program site supervising visits. At times there may be the need to
move quickly (standing, reaching, bending, or possibly climbing onto a play structure) to provide safety to children.
