Registered Nurse Pain Management

• Full-time, Mon-Fri; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• May be eligible for a sign-on bonus

The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic Health System by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. S/he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.

Requires:

• Diploma or degree in nursing; BSN preferred
• Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment; at time of hire preferred
• Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
• Experience with OR Sedations
