Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain an efficient work flow at the reception desk Learn and use multiple systems Schedule appointments
- Checking in and rescheduling patients
- Scheduling testing for patients obtaining per authorization's for testing
- Collecting copays and balances
- Updating patient demographics
- Verifying insurance and edibility
- Sending pre-registration to patients
- Balancing the end of day reports
- Keeping lobby and reception area tidy
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to travel to other locations if needed
Qualifications: Must have a positive attitude and strong communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent customer service and computer skills are required. Must be able to work well with people and have outstanding interpersonal skills. Must have excellent telephone etiquette. Must be able to multitask while working in a very fast paced environment. Ideal candidate is organized, possess good time management skills, and exhibits professionalism in dress and language. Punctuality and reliability are imperative. Must be a self starter and able to work independently, and work will in a team environment. Medical office experience is a plus, but not required. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
