Purpose:

The person in this role will perform all Quality Assurance tasks in the, San Antonio, Surface Americas Operations
Facility. This position is responsible for all QA tasks for Frac, Wellhead, Flow Testing Services(FTS) and Pressure Pumping Services (PPS) product lines at the base(s), and in the field sites.

Job Description:

• Reads Part Reports(DBI), part drawings and quality instructions to determine dimension specifications, measurements and tests required to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Assists with customer audits.
• Point of contact for all quality related events and operations at the base.
• Travels to work sites to perform quality audits.
• Track and report local quality KPIs and metrics to base management.
• Coordinates Quality Notifications & Service Notification for Root Cause Analysis(RCA)
• Liaises with the Engineering and manufacturing departments on all non-conforming issues and quality requirements.
• Close out and manage all field and shop-related SNs/QNs promptly.
• Operates under internal procedures, Quality System (QS) and other governmental and customer requirements and specifications.
• Assists the management team in the effective running of the operations by attending and/or assisting in operations meetings, audits, reviews, pre-work meetings, internally and with clients.
• Works in a safe manner and keeps all employees and visitors in work area aware of potential dangers. The holder of this position has the authority to STOP works when continuation could jeopardize the product quality.
• Develops and maintains quality local work instructions.
• Identifies areas for improvement and drives improvement projects to achieve a Quality Assurance culture within the organization.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required. BA in Industrial Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years quality, manufacturing or oil field service experience.
• Ability to read and understand drawings. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be competent in several areas of dimensional inspection and non-destructive examination.
• Demonstrates technical understanding of inspection equipment.
• Ability to interpret test specifications.
• Proven problem-solving ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills to include effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Experience is using ERP systems preferred.
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the country, without sponsorship.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Exposed to possible shop and lab hazards including heavy equipment and high noise levels. May be exposed to extreme temperatures if working outside.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical position requiring standing, stooping, lifting and bending. Fast and heavy paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
