PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Technical Director, Special Activities in support of high priority programs utilizing appropriate software tools, especially Microsoft Project
- Work directly with multiple prototype project managers, resource sponsors, and other stakeholders to develop project schedules and database suitable for tracking work-progress, resource consumption, and identifying critical paths
- Develop presentation products based on the developed schedules and database
- Track critical path progress to plan and ensure compliance with all applicable policies
- Establish and document business processes or procedures
- Analyze and report on the critical path to assist the government with decision-making for complex acquisition programs
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years' of work experience supporting the management of Department of Defense acquisition programs and related programs
- Experience building and maintaining schedules based on critical path methodologies using Microsoft Project
- Experience with leveraging the relationship between Work Breakdown Structures and scheduling
- Ability to follow prescribed style sheets and other document formatting guidance
- Ability to work with a wide range of contributors, to include program managers, engineers, subject matter experts, functional teams, and senior leadership
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to design and produce high-quality products and documents
- Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office to include Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Current TS/SCI is required
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree
- Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) or technical area experience
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team
- Willingness to work on all aspects of team priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
