JOB SUMMARY:

The planning and preparation of drawings necessary for the construction of Stater Bros. Market building plans and on and off-site improvements for shopping center projects, including the implementation of owner and consulting engineers requirements and preparation of documents for bid and construction use.

FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS:

Assist in developing merchandising / fixture plans in AutoCAD and Revit

Document control / scanning and electronic file management

Assist in preparation of contract documents for small projects

Assist in Field Verification surveys

Outlines the details of the execution plan, drafts a production hand-off document and creates

Visual aids for the support of projects.

Maintaining project confidentiality

Problem solving

Coordinate with architect to prepare construction documents

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICIATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

College Degree and/or Courses preferred

Must be at least 18 years of age

Knowledge of M Type projects

3 - 5 years experience working in Space planning, retail, commercial projects

3-5 years working in AutoCAD and Revit required

Knowledge of Building codes (California Building Code)

Excellent written and verbal communications

Excellent telephone etiquette, ability to meet strict deadlines

Ability to deal effectively with all individuals

Confidentiality, integrity, accuracy, and problem solving required

REQUIRED LICENSES / CERTIFCATIONS:

Valid California Driver License with clear driving record
