The Product Operations Manager focuses on alignment, communication, and processes around product development, launch, and iteration for a product vertical. Leveraging their deep knowledge and experience of the market and product development, this position partners closely with product leadership and their go-to-market counterparts to effectively execute on the product roadmap in alignment with company product development frameworks. By driving micro-level operations within their product vertical, the Operations Manager will allow product leaders to focus on macro-level work and building products users love, enable the cross-functional product team to operate as effectively as possible to allow us to deliver value to users faster, empower the product team to use data to drive decisions and maintain focus on outcomes over output, and realize operational efficiencies that result from well-defined cross-team communication and collaboration structures.
Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.- Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $86,261 and $125,000/year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Partner with product leadership of the product vertical to execute on product strategy and roadmap in alignment with organizational product development frameworks.
- Manage strategic product initiatives to successful outcomes, including planning, progress tracking, risk management, issue escalation, communication, and stakeholder reporting.
- Drive the collaborative effort between product management and go-to-market teams (marketing, sales, services, professional services) to launch new features and products as effectively as possible.
- Manage product experimentation process and product beta and pilot implementations in collaboration with the Product Management, User Research, and Efficacy Research teams.
- Leverage organizational tools and systems to get the right quantitative and qualitative data from the right places into the product development process to enable creation of better products.
- Facilitate practices that ensure alignment, communication, and collaboration between product leaders and those designing, building, selling and supporting solutions.
- Enable strong feedback loops between product teams, internal customer-facing teams, and customers for the given product vertical.

Share Your Expertise .
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, or technology and 5+ years of experience in the EdTech industry and in a product management, product marketing, professional services, customer success, or other go-to-market function; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in product management and software development lifecycles as well as common frameworks for building, implementing, and launching technology products (e.g. Agile Scrum methodology, Pragmatic Marketing).
- Working knowledge of product management, product analytics, and product development tools (e.g. Productboard, Pendo) and familiarity with program and project management software tools (e.g. SmartSheet).
- Experience using complex and large data sets as well as with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI).
- Critical thinker with the ability to identify and understand complex problems/issues and formulate alternate solutions.
- Proven ability to build team cohesiveness, lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve challenging goals.
- Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in online meeting applications such as Zoom and in collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Office, and SmartSheet.
