Job description

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join the team based in Barcelona.

About The Role:

Your main missions and responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure that the project is planned, organized and executed correctly. Lead the planning of project strategies, including contracting, risk management, project controls, and project execution.
  • Lead the development of the project execution plan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the client and other stakeholders associated with the Project (partners, subcontractors, suppliers...). Single point of contact for the customer.
  • Create a quality and HSE-oriented work environment to foster customer satisfaction and HSE awareness among the project team.
  • Identify business opportunities at the bidding stage and work with the proposal team to communicate customer requirements and to drive customer specifications towards standardized product solutions during the bidding stage.
  • Conduct an in-depth review of the contract, bid and bidding documents. Ensure the project team understands the scope of work and supports the client's needs and goals.
  • Ensure timely internal and external reports.
  • Manage, report and lead the project team setting and monitoring goals.
  • Contribute to the development of people by interacting with the projects department and HR. Guarantee the achievement or improvement of profit and loss forecasts
  • Ensure the coordination of the different interfaces.

About You:

  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Industial Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer and previous experience as a Project Manager in companies providing engineering services to Refining, Chemical or Petrochemical Industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oil&Gas Industry, including equipments, operations and services.
  • Ability to manage critical schedules to optimize and deliver customer service.
  • Strong Leadership Skills.
  • Fluent in English
