This Plant Manager position is one of the more unique Plant Manager jobs out there and you can even work remote one day a week when you are up and running. Primary Responsibilities will include

• Achieve production efficiency goals, on-time delivery, quality, safety and overall efficiency

• Implement cost effective systems of control over operating expenditures

• Analyze costs, burden rates and other relevant financial information and take appropriate action to meet established budgets and goals

• Help define equipment and capital investments required to support manufacturing and service needs

• Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates

• Ensure compliance with company policies, communications and reporting

• Communicate as necessary with all levels of management and staff

• Accountability for plant supervisors, maintenance department and associated staff

• Interface with supply chain groups as required

Respond in a proactive manner to health & safety as well as quality elements in the manufacturing environment

• Create and maintain a respectful work environment by listening, seeking facts to support decisions, and addressing unacceptable behavior

Requirements include

Manufacturing industry experience

Staff management experience

Lean experience is an asset

Someone who has experience in a rapidly growing organization is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
